Last month I added an adorable new addition to my crochet animal pocket scarf patterns - the Sloth Crochet Pocket Scarf! This fun scarf was inspired by a friend's love for these adorable animals.
Like a Sloth, the time this pattern took its own sweet time coming together :) This scarf is the first pocket scarf pattern I've released in over 5 years. During that time, I was focused on other things and set this pattern and the scarf sample aside until "someday" when I could pick it up again. I recently found the sample and pattern while moving into my new studio and decided to not let any more time pass before this scarf pattern was finished.
It felt good to finish this adorable sloth scarf and to share it with you all! I started my pocket scarf line over 15 years ago, inspired by my daughter who was in elementary school at the time. My daughter loves animals, and I was inspired to create fun animal-themed pocket scarves to help keep her hands warm during our cold Colorado winters. This also helped prevented lost gloves and mittens as she could just tuck her hands into her fun, new scarf!
The scarf patterns have been popular through the years with 1,000's of patterns sold! Lately, people of all ages have purchased patterns and shared they are making them for themselves for some much needed warmth, whimsy, and happiness during these challenging times.
